Dyuti Ganesh, LCPC, Psychology Associate

I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Psychology Associate practicing in Washington, DC and Maryland.

I’m here to meet you where you are, offering a collaborative space for you to feel seen, heard, and understood. Drawing from psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, and EMDR therapies, we’ll gently explore how your past experiences shape your present and work together toward a splendid future.

Live a richer & more vibrant life

For Clients:

  • Individual Therapy

Therapy is a co-created space intended for you to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your true Self. Together, we’ll explore the experiences that have shaped you, deepen your understanding of who you are, and work toward greater self-awareness and fulfillment. Whether you’re navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, identity questions, or life transitions, individual therapy can support your journey with long-term care and curiosity.

  • Couples Therapy

Our relationships are at the heart of how we experience the world. Couples therapy allows you to revisit your connection and move forward with intention. If you are struggling with communication, intimacy, daily routines, or deeper relational patterns, couples therapy can help to better understand one another, grow through challenges, and repair. My approach is respectful of each partner’s experience with the goal of creating space for lasting change.

  • Group Therapy

Group therapy offers a powerful sense of connection and shared understanding. It’s a space where you can be supported and support others while exploring experiences that may feel overwhelming on your own. In a confidential group setting, we’ll work together to build trust and develop greater confidence in self-expression. With my thoughtful facilitation, group therapy can be the transformative space that reminds you: you’re not alone.

For Early Career Clinicians:

  • Early Career Mentorship

Navigating the various pathways to becoming a licensed mental health professional is no easy feat due to unclear guidelines, gatekeeping, and a lack of quality oversight. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of clinical work, there are many options to consider while obtaining licensure. If you’re interested in developing a relationship that helps you ease into the clinical field, understand your career goals, and take steps to achieve autonomy in this profession, please reach out so we can connect further. I greatly enjoy the process of collaboration and incorporate a relational, personalized, non-directive approach to mentorship.

  • Psychodynamic Case Consultation

Talk therapy began with Freud’s psychoanalysis and has since evolved into contemporary psychodynamic psychotherapy. However, long-term depth-based therapeutic modalities are no longer encouraged to pursue or even taught in graduate training programs due to managed healthcare and capitalistic endeavors taking precedent over quality clinical training. Psychodynamic psychotherapy continues to provide patients long-lasting change and thus, I strongly believe in its clinical efficacy. If you are feeling stuck, uninspired, or desiring a fresh perspective, let’s work together to introduce a psychodynamic conceptualization to your cases.

  • Private Practice Launch Planning

Gaining the autonomy that private practice can offer is absolutely a cause for celebration! At the same time, private practice requires thoughtful consideration of existing skill sets while addressing areas of improvement to ensure long-term success. The transition from years of supervision, agency and community mental health settings, and team interaction can leave room for second-guessing, uncertainty, and loneliness. In the same way you provide support to your clients with their plans, I’m here to provide you with support in yours for a rich and gratifying private practice experience.

Change is the only constant.
