I specialize in working with high-functioning young adults and professionals experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma. My therapeutic style is relational and collaborative. I integrate psychodynamic psychotherapy with eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and cognitive-behavioral interventions including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based techniques to support ongoing self-exploration and meaningful change.

At the core of my work is the belief that change happens through awareness, acceptance, and empowerment. I strive to build a strong, trusting therapeutic alliance where we can explore your past and present in service of creating the future you desire.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy


I use psychodynamic psychotherapy along with an integrative blend of CBT, DBT, and holistic approaches to bring forth unconscious processes that have developed over the lifespan and work through present-day issues by exploring your childhood, upbringing, and sociocultural background.

Emerging & young adults

I enjoy working with individuals ages 18-60 and those who may identify as “Millennial” or “Gen Z”. I especially enjoy working with folks who are starting long-term psychotherapy for the first time.

Complex trauma

Trauma significantly changes the way you experience life. If you find yourself feeling frozen or disconnected due to past or current trauma, I can help you to unpack the intricacies found within the layers of abuse, neglect, and harm by utilizing comprehensive EMDR or EMDR-informed therapy and additional trauma-focused interventions. I work closely with survivors of childhood invalidation and abuse along with those who experience family-of-origin trauma.

Mood and behavioral disorders

Are you experiencing depression, anxiety, or ongoing behavioral and emotional issues? We can work together to better understand what you are facing.

Self-esteem

Gaining independence and finding your voice can feel uncomfortable and unfamiliar. I am here to support you in blossoming into the you that you envision, no matter which span of life you are in.

Intersectionality

Your identity along with your racial, ethnic, and cultural background play a big role in your personal experiences. If you are feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or grasping at straws to navigate life within the overlap of multiple distinctions, let’s work together to better understand and integrate these core parts of who you are.

Acculturation

Do you feel like you just don’t belong? Have you experienced cultural guilt? I will work with you to explore your multicultural experiences and their impact.

Identity-related stress

If you have battled the accumulated stress and trauma from repeated instances of discrimination, microaggression, and systemic violence, it is vital that we come together to work through and process these hurtful and harmful occurrences from an anti-capitalist and anti-racist framework.
